NIMFest 2025
NIMFest is a long-running Newport summer tradition, and in 2025 New England Music Organization proudly handled booking, sound, and promotion for the series after fully taking over operations in 2024.
The free concert series took place every Sunday throughout July and August at the King Park Gazebo, overlooking the beautiful Newport Harbor. Made possible through support from the Hamilton Family Foundation and the City of Newport, the series spotlighted local artists from Rhode Island and beyond. Performers included Princess June, Jill McCracken, Diane Blue and her all-star band, Guess Method, The Down City Band, John McKenna’s jazz quartet, and a singer-songwriter showcase featuring Polly Bessette, Breachway, and Space Cowboy Newt. The series also featured a special collaboration with Newport Classical and their resident festival artists. NIMFest 2025 saw record attendance and widespread praise for its exceptional sound quality and diverse, high-caliber performances.
